Return Policy

Users are bound by the Return Policy which is updated by Milanjyothi time to time, based on the prevailing standards which are purely the discretion of the company. Users are advised to be aware of the Return Policy during the purchase and payment process. Return Policy is not a routing aspect of ‘Milanjyothi’s’ business, but, treated as a compliance aspect which provided the customers the opportunity to notify and present their case to the company in case of any damaged or dubious products are delivered. The Return Policy restricts the users to be only notifying the issue to the company and follow the guidelines provided by the company.

The process of notifying the damaged product can happen at the time of delivery itself. The user has the right to reject the delivery if the packaging and the product itself is found to be in damaged condition. However, if it is found to be frivolous or baseless, the company will initiate the legal action against the user for which the liability is solely the users throughout the legal procedure including the cost and stress involved.

Once the product is delivered and it is found by the user to be in damaged condition, the user has to notify the company within 24 hours through Email or filling up and submitting the contact form online or calling up the customer care center. If the user fails to notify the company about the damaged product with in the stipulated time, ‘Milanjyothi’ shall not be held responsible or liable for such damaged product. If the complaint is found to be genuine, the user will be asked to hand over the product in its original and unused condition to the suggested logistics personnel or will be asked to courier the same product in original and unused condition to the precise address (courier charges will be reimbursed) within one day. All returned packages are subjected to verification and authentication by the ‘Milanjyothi’ personnel. Any frivolous claims will be rejected and legal action will be initiated against the user or the customer for which the liability is solely the users throughout the legal procedure including the cost and stress involved.

If the product is found to be genuinely in damaged condition by ‘Milanjyothi’ the payment made against that product will be refunded to the user or the customer within 21 days from the time of confirmation. The confirmation will be emailed to the user along with the reference no for tracking the refund status. The reimbursement will be made to the respective credit / debit card or bank account in case of online payment. If it is cash on delivery service, the reimbursement will be paid by Cheque. If the user has used any promo code or discount voucher or any special offer for the transaction which was subjected to the Return Policy, such promo code or discount voucher or any special offer cannot be reused by the user post reimbursement.

Cancellations and failed transactions In case of any failed transaction due to the error from the vendor, the users will understand and acknowledge that the error was solely from the vendor and shall not hold ‘Milanjyothi’ responsible or accountable for the same.

All users understand and acknowledge that the transactions will not be cancelled once the orders are placed. However, users can request for cancellation of transactions and orders made online. It’s the sole discretion of the company and the website to entertain such request based on the prevailing situations. All users understand and acknowledge that ‘Milanjyothi’ cannot be held responsible or liable for such events. The company can cancel certain transactions based on the prevailing situations after any transaction is complete or the order is placed. ‘Milanjyothi’ reserves such rights to cancel transactions and orders. In such events, the company will inform the users and reimburse the payment, if any is made. The time duration for the reimbursement will be mentioned in the notification send to the customer or user. All users understand and acknowledge that ‘Milanjyothi’ cannot be held responsible or liable for such events.

All claims and legal aspects will be within the Jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India as per the Indian corporate and consumer laws based on the cyber protocols defined by the Governments of India and Tamil Nadu from time to time.
